Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. A half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish and English descendance. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. She was the first born of a family of six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. They lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy the move was traumatic and she refused to master English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. After she turned 16, she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her as a professional model.
