Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most notable roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). There are three brothers and sisters. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her house in order to perform. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, performer and actor.
