Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney (born November 19, 1959)[2] is an American actress. Her name is well-known due to her roles in a wide range of categories on screen and stage over a three-decade career. Janney was awarded various awards such as the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as A Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations to win Two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston but was raised at home in Dayton (Ohio). Janney got a grant to studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney was first seen on television in 1999 with the character C. J. Cregg as a character on NBC's political drama The West Wing (2000-2006). In the course of her work, she won the award for four Primetime Emmy Awards for this part.
